INSTALLATION
How to hang your indoor ceiling swing
Installing a ceiling hanging swing requires the right hooks, the right ceiling, and the right chain length. Our swings can be installed on both wooden ceilings and concrete ceilings. Here is what to know before your swing arrives.
Measure Ceiling Height
Our chains are 7 feet as standard, ideal for a 9-foot ceiling. For anything different, just share your ceiling height when ordering - we adjust before production.
Locate a ceiling joist
Your swing must be anchored to a solid ceiling joist or beam - not drywall. A stud finder will locate the right spot.
Installation guide included
Every swing ships with full installation guidance - ceiling hook specifications and relevant hardware.

MATERIAL
American Tulip Wood - why it matters for a swing
A wooden swing carries weight, movement, and daily use in a way most furniture does not. The material choice is not aesthetic - it is structural. Here is why we chose American Tulip wood for every swing jhula in our collection.
FSC & Lacey Act compliant
Our Tulip wood is FSC-certified and fully compliant with the US Lacey Act - meaning every wooden swing we ship internationally meets the strictest timber sourcing and import standards. No duties held, no shipments stopped.
Premium Hardwood
A tight, consistent grain that holds intricate detail without splintering - producing sharper, cleaner results than softer hardwoods used in most wooden mandirs.
Certified sustainability
Our Tulip wood is sourced from certified sustainable forests - so your wooden swing is not only built to last, but responsibly made.
Lifetime warranty
We back every wooden jhula with a lifetime structural warranty. Solid wood built properly does not fail - and we stand behind that.
DESIGN FEATURES
Every swing built with same intention
Our swings are designed for what you feel as much as what you see. Every detail drawn from India's craft traditions โ refined for the homes of today.
Pure antique brass chains
Every Furnicheer wooden swing comes with handcrafted antique brass chains - cast for strength, finished for beauty. Indian brass swing chains that age like fine jewellery, not hardware.
American Tulip wood
FSC-certified and Lacey Act compliant - our solid wood swing frames are built from premium hardwood that does not warp under indoor climate conditions. Stable, strong, and heirloom-quality.
Hand-finished by artisans
Every swing is hand-finished by our craftspeople in Navi Mumbai - from the carved seat detail to the final brass fitting. No two pieces are identical.
Modern wooden jhulas
Clean silhouettes, restrained detailing, warm wood tones. Designed to belong in a contemporary living room without losing the soul of a traditional handcrafted wooden swing.
Rooted in tradition
Called jhula in Hindi, onjal in Tamil, and hichko in Gujarati - the Indian wooden swing carries a different emotional weight in every home it enters.
Made to order
Every wooden swing is made to order - never mass-produced. Dimensions, stain colour, and chain length can be adjusted before production begins.
